About Us
Welcome to Prause Polled Hereford Farms. We thank you for visiting our herd on the web. Please feel free to contact us with any inquiries about our program or our cattle. Our ranch is located 4.5 miles SW of Yoakum on Morris Community Road. Visitors are always welcome. Our registered cow herd consists of close to 200 cows of prominent bloodlines. Our herd bulls are OHR Matthew 10M 9P, THM Victor 6045 ET (purchased at the Meade sale in '07), Grandview Java 512, Anchor 33R, and Anchor 19S. We also have a crossbreeding program in which we cross registered polled hereford cows with top-quality brangus bulls. The resulting calves consistently top the market at the sale barn and we have sold steers to juniors for local shows as well as Houston commercial pens. For the past three years, PPHF-bred brangus/hereford females have been named Grand Champion Pen of Commercial Heifers at the Cuero Livestock Show. We offer registered bulls and heifers and commercial steers and heifers for sale annually. Please use the links at the left to navigate our site for pictures of some of our cattle. |
